With our network of professional partners throughout the world, we will ensure that you will receive the best quotation available to transport your belongings on a door to door basis, whether by road, sea or air.  To accurately estimate the volume and receive the best price on your upcoming move, we will organize an in-person survey or on-line survey of your personal effects. Our quotes will be itemized outlining services such as packing, transport, customs etc. and we will provide an approximate delivery date whenever possible.

Whether by truck, ship or air, we will manage the following steps to ensure an organised transition of your personal effects from your current home to your new country. We will go out to the market and obtain one to three quotes on your behalf and present all three quotes or the most economical quote for you to select. All our moving partners operate at an international standard and have the knowledge and experience to perform a door to door move to your satisfaction.

Step 1 – Contact

You may wish to contact us by telephone or via our website. As soon as you have made a decision to relocate it is advisable to contact us to start the moving process. A good planning period is about 90 days prior to your move date.

Step 2 – Cost Estimate

To enable us to give you a price on your move, we will need to identify the amount of furniture and personal effects you have to be packed and moved. This can be done either by making an Online Request, completing our Survey App or Call Us to arrange a phone quote or a visit from one of our consultants. We will approach our partner moving companies to obtain a best price for you based on service, timing and your budget. Your quote will be on a door-to-door basis including all costs, with the exception of duties, taxes and insurance.

Step 3 – Packing

Our partner moving company will provide professional packers to prepare your shipment for international transport. They will provide all materials and employ industry-proven techniques for international shipping. Special items that you have identified may be crated or specially packed.

Step 4 – Loading

Once your goods are packed, our moving partner may either load them into a 20’ or 40’ container for shipping or load your household goods into a truck for road transport as a full truck or part truck load. If there are some time-sensitive items to be delivered to your new home, you may consider air-freighting these items, however be aware of the high costs of airfreight.

Step 5 – To the Port

Once the shipping container is sealed it is taken to the port for departure. If there is airfreight your items will be taken to the airport for departure at a secure terminal.

Step 6 – Ocean, Road or Air Transportation

Your container with your personal effects will be placed on an ocean vessel or aircraft for international shipping. If travelling from another European country the truck with your personal effects will be sealed and will make its journey by road to your new destination.

Step 7 – Customs Clearance

At the port/airport of arrival your household goods shipment will be processed by the destination customs authority and cleared for transfer to another of our carefully selected moving partner. As many European countries are not in the EU, we will inform you at the time of quoting whether your shipment by truck will require customs clearance or not.

Step 8 – Delivery

Our destination moving partner will deliver your household goods and unpack them at your new home. If required, we can also arrange storage until you are ready to receive your personal effects
