When should I contact Iberia Relocations to begin organizing my relocation?

Pre-planning and the preparation is the key. We suggest that contact should be made as early as possible, even at the preliminary stage of your relocation. Early planning streamlines the relocation and moving processes and it also gives us time to address all visa and immigration issues, transport and logistical issues and accommodation details.

What do I do when I first arrive at my destination country or city?

We recommend staying for a short period in a serviced apartment, and we can help you to organize this prior to your arrival. This will allow you to get comfortable with the different areas of the city before committing to purchasing or a long-term lease.

How long can I stay and do I need a resident or work permit?

We will advise and coordinate with yourself or your employer all the necessary documentation required for your stay. The requirements often change, so it is best to contact us as soon as you are aware of your decision.

What should I bring when I move?

Depending on how long you plan to stay at your new home city, it will determine what you will need. Someone arriving for a 3 – 6 month stay could get away with a suitcase or two full of clothes and purchase anything else that is needed locally. Couples and families relocating for the longer term or possibly retirement may feel more comfortable brining all the comforts from home.
